A self-paced yoga study program dedicated to providing the yogi with an experience that is physical, mental/cognitive, and spiritual/emotional/healing with equal focus on pranayama (breath) and dhyana (meditation) as asana (postures). The deliberate practice of yoga postures coupled with breath is so powerful that they enable us to glide directly into a calm state of being. Not taking advantage of that moment is like not seizing an opportunity to fill the gas tank when there are hundreds of miles ahead in the middle of nowhere.

You will learn about the history of yoga in America and how it has shaped our practice today.
You will practice and learn about a variety of the most practiced Hatha and Raja yoga styles.
Know the basics of anatomy and kinesiology as it pertains to fundamental movements and yoga. Assess you biomechanics and create a course of action for improved posture and position/asan alignment, with the goal of improved symmetry.
You will learn the core principles, and dos and don'ts, of each fundamental yoga posture (asana). Leverage modifications, corrections, and prop use.
